Our Law Firm of the week is Banwo & Ighodalo. Established on 1st February 1991 by founding partners Femi Olubanwo and Asue Ighodalo, Banwo & Ighadalo has grown from a two-man law practice to an 80+ lawyer firm (12 of whom are partners). At least five of the partners ‘grew’ organically with unprecedented rapidity from young associates (some NYSC) to become partners – and today two are members of the firm’s executive management. Banwo & Ighadalo is also one of the few firms to have ‘changed the guard’ by appointing a managing partner who is not one of the firm’s founding partners.
